ABOUT ME

​​Elvira Fusto, director, performer, after experimenting with different forms of communication such as television journalism (Rai, Italian television radio),   printed paper (Il Manifesto, I Siciliani, Avvenimenti, L'Unità, weekly Manifesto) the direction of Press Offices (Claudio Fava, The Nine Publishing House, Cavallotto Bookstores, Volcanology Institute, Teather Massimo Bellini, Film Festival of the Taormina Arte) directed newspapers and weeklies, held journalism courses and attended a six-month course at the Holden school in Turin . In 2008 she was involved in research theatre, in particular dramaturgical writing and film script and leads acting, scriptwriting and dramaturgy workshops. In 2010 she wrote the dramaturgy "Studio on Le Troiane by Euripides",  the script for the short film "With you and without you", and the following year she adapted the texts of the recitals "Ucca e saccu in Tartina" and "Christmas Shopping". On behalf of the Teatro Stabile di Catania she wrote "The ship of the brides", staged in 2012 under the direction of Giuseppe Di Pasquale. In 2015 she wrote the project Madre Snatura and directed the short film "Madre Snatura", exhibited at the SAL center the photographic exhibition "Madre Snatura”.
